Your questions

Can I track progress?

Not as a live count, and it is worth being straight about that: there is no public tree counter on this site, and no running total that updates on its own.

What is published is the campaign target and the results so far. The target is 10,000 trees over five years, delivering more than £1 million of benefit to the UK. NCZ clients planted over 1,000 trees at private planting events in February 2024. The Forest of Marston Vale Trust publishes what the Forest as a whole delivers annually: 4,917 tonnes of CO2 removed from the atmosphere, £4.95m saved by the NHS, 167 full-time-equivalent jobs supported locally, and £6.91m added to the visitor economy.

Those figures and any campaign update are published on the Tree in a Million page. For the position on your own sponsorship - how many trees your contribution covered, and when they were planted - contact NCZ directly and ask. Clients on the NCZ carbon management platform track their measured emissions there; tree sponsorship is recorded separately and is not shown in the platform.
