NCZ runs Tree in a Million in partnership with the Forest of Marston Vale Trust, so planting happens at the Forest’s own site under the Trust’s stewardship rather than on land NCZ manages. The published campaign target is 10,000 trees over five years, worth more than £1 million of benefit to the UK.
There are two published ways in. You can sponsor trees: £19.99 for a single tree, £15.00 per tree for 10 or more, and £12.00 per tree for 50 or more. That can be a one-off donation, or a regular payment set up by getting in touch with NCZ.
Or you can book a private planting event and plant them yourself. These are half-day events at the planting site, with full supervision and with food and refreshments for up to 15 people included: £2,000 for the Standard plan, £3,000 for Gold and £4,400 for Premium. NCZ clients planted over 1,000 trees at these events in February 2024.
Sponsorship suits an individual, a gift or a company contribution; an event suits a team day or a client day. Both feed the same planting programme.
